How to create a Table of Contents

A Table of Contents can be a handy addition to any site, particularly when you have a moderate amount of pages that you want to make easily viewable.  A really common place to do this is the footer of a site, that way your table of contents is global.

Making one is super easy!  First, let’s take a look at the list of pages on a site I made:

You can see I have 13 pages for this example, nested under 3 of the 4 top level pages.  Can you tell that I like robots? Smiley Happy  Next, click on the footer of the site. I was presented with the option to choose a layout, so I chose the one shown here:

This particular one works well for me because I’ve got three different submenus, so I can just edit the text in each of the columns like so:

For extra fun I used the site logo to the right to link back to home, since I felt it kept the table of contents simpler.  The last step is to simply select each page name and link it to the appropriate page of your site.

That’s it! If you made your own table of contents feel free to share!

Hi @TuckerDaTurtle The only way to alphabetize it is to set it up in the correct order. Hope that helps clarify. Smiley Happy
