How to center the LOGO on header in LIGHT theme

I created a Spanish website using weebly 2 years ago under the LIGHT theme. The pre-defined logo was on the left hand upper corner of the header. At that time, I was able to center the logo in the header. (Or the weebly team helped me do so under my request, I dont remember exactly)

Last week, I copied that website and created the English version of the same website. Since I need to change the tagline under the logo to English, I had to upload another Logo. However, I could not center the logo anymore after uploading the new logo. I seek helped from the weebly team but they said weebly had installed a new image editor and they cannot center it anymore.

I really like the logo in the center, and I believe I am not the only one. Does anyone know what we can do to center the logo in the header, under the theme LIGHT?

And how come an UPDATED NEW weebly image editor cannot do something which we could do? It doesn´t make sense!

Try adding this to Settings > SEO > Header Code:

<style>
	#logo { text-align: right !important; }
	#header-right { width: 40%; }
</style>

It should fix it on the live site for you.

Hi there,

The Spanish site I had made 2 years ago was www.orient-plus.net , you can see the logo is in the center of the header.

The English site I made recently is www.businesstriptochina.com , you can see the logo is on the left hand corner, which I could not center.

Please have a look and let me know what you reckon. Thx!

Rgds,

L

Yes, it works! Thx Mr. Adam a ton! You are able to solve this even when the weebly zendesk told me it is impossible to edit that! You are the man!

Hello, My website is www.diapersaway.ca  and I am trying to centre my logo to make it bigger. I tried using the code that you provided in my header but it is not working. Am I doing something wrong? My logo is so tiny on the side!

Hi @tmaria90 I'm pretty sure those codes might be theme specific. The theme you are currently using is Unite 2. I'm not much help with the code you would need, but I can give you some suggestions for an alternate theme (such as CleanLines) that doesn't have logo restrictions. Adam can probably help you out in the morning as well. Smiley Happy

If I change themes, will all the content from my site get deleted and I have to start fresh? I'm so scared to change anything in case it gets erased and I'm starting from scratch.

All of your content will remain intact. The only thing that doesn't transfer when changing themes are header images, since those are tied to the theme you added them to.

Can you please guide me as to how to enlarge my logo? Which theme would I need to change to?

The best (and my favorite) theme for logos is CleanLines. I believe Oasis is another one without dimension restrictions, but that is the theme with the split screen. Do you need more width or more height with your logo? I can find some other themes based on the dimensions for you. Smiley Happy

@BernadetteI would like more height and width. Could you find me a theme that has a logo off to the left that is able to be enlarged? I just previewed some in the middle and I don't like the look of it.

I like Upstart Haberdasher a bit but can't seem to enlarge the logo. Do you have coding to do that?

It's possible to do that with CSS, although you can only make it as big as the image itself is or it will look pixelated. The image itself is usually just a little bigger than what it looks like without making any changes.

Right now I'm using Unite 2 and would REALLY like to keep it. Is there any coding to make my logo bigger or will I have to use a different theme. The only other one I like is Upstart Haberdasher.

Hi @tmaria90. All of the themes with logos to the left are not going to be very tall. I'm assuming this is because the logo is in the same line as the navigation. Because the navigation is only one row high the spacing would be really off to have a large logo. If you need a large logo (width/height) I would definitely recommend one of the themes with a center logo. Otherwise it would need to be custom coding. Very sorry about that.

Hi @wijnantsn Do you need help finding a theme that has the logo placement on the left? One you might want to preview is called Purple Haze. The other ones will make the logo too small I think.
