How to Add CSS

Can anyone confirm that it is true that you can NOT add another .css file, that you just have to paste all your CSS into the main_style.css.

If that is true, how are people doing this?

For example, are you adding something like this to the bottom of the CSS file?

/********** custom css **********************/

/*insert custom CSS here*/

/********** custom css **********************/

Thx Benadette, now it works.

Is there any info available to see the right path when I add a file to styles, header types, partials, assets?

Any thank you so much.

The only place within a theme where you can actually upload files is in Assets, so it will always have that same file path. New page templates don't have a file path since it's just a different header type you can select for a page on the pages tab.

Hi Robin

I would like to insert a custom footer (i.e. an image) in my Weebly site and I wonder if someone can help me.  I already tweaked the CSS code so that my sub-menus can now be in lower case.  One guy in the community said he could do it but I just wanted him to give me the codes, as opposed to giving him access as he could destroy everything.

Where would I look to get such 'nixer' done?

Brendan

New CSS files can be uploaded in the theme editor. Go to the Theme tab and click on "Edit HTML / CSS", then upload your CSS file there.
