How does members/groups work?

I would lika a page on my website for an online class. So it needs to be only for the people paying for the class. I've found that i can create a page for members/groups, but how will that page work? Can my students upload things (posts/videos) to that site, or is it more like a password protected site?

I have a free acount now and don't want to upgrade unless it actually works as i would like it to.

I also get the 404 error. I am logged in to my Weebly account. I can see my user/account name in the upper right corner of the Help page indicating that I am logged in. Please check the link to the Article. Thanks.
