I want to design a page on my site which will not be seen if I publish other changes to the site until I'm ready. Can I have such a page?

Hey there! @ccryptogram
The Weebly editor has a great option to hide your pages from your navigation menu on the live site! If you are in the editor you want to go to the pages tab. Once there, you should see a list of all of the pages in your site on the left hand side of the screen.
You can create new pages by click on the '+' sybol at the top of that list! When your creating the page there will be a check box that says 'Hide in navigation'
If you check that box it will hide your page. If the page you want to hide has already been created, you can just click on it from that list of pages on the left side of the screen - the same checkbox will be there.
For sites built using the Square Online editor, click on the Pages dropdown on the top left of the editor, then click on the Edit link for your navigation menu on the bottom. You can add or remove pages from your navigation there.
I hope this was helpful!

What about a page that was hidden but doesn't actually hide?

Hey @zishery
I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean? Do you have a page the on your site where you checked the "hide in navigation" box, but it is still showing on the site?

I have an additional follow-up. If I create a page that is hidden from the navigation menu as suggested, would knowing the url of that page allow you to view that page if it's designated as hidden? That would be something I would be interested to have and use, so I can share a URL of a hidden page but also not have it viewable through the menu navigation. Thanks.

Definitely - it's just like any other page of the site except for being omitted from the navigation.

What I usually do is go to the live home page, for example, www.mydomain.com/home.html
Replace "home" with whatever you named your page: www.mydomain.com/pagename.html
If the page is more than one word you will separate with hyphens: www.mydomain.com/hidden-page.html or www.mydomain.com/this-is-the-hidden-page.html
Does this example make sense to you?

I would hit the 'pages' tab at the top and scroll down the pages on the left until you get to the one you want.

Is there any way to hide a page and prevent it from being accessed by entering the direct URL?

You could probably turn on password protection for the hidden page, @chrisbr.

This doesn't work for category pages in a shop. There is no hide in navigation checkbox. How can I hide a category page?

You could make a regular page that you hide from the navigation, then make any pages you want to hide sub-pages of that one.

Can you hide an external page that you are using as a link somewhere else on your page but don't want to see it on the top menu buttons?

Hi @cosignguy I'm not quite sure I understand the question. You want to have an external page in navigation but don't want it to show?
