HOW TO DELETE HEADERS

Hello,

at some point new headers feature was introduced and i never had any headers on my page before. Tried it out, dont like how bulky it is (side note: weebly, you really seem like overally bulky and spacy layouts which dont look nice at all on small monitors and cell phones), and now i cannot remove it.. just have the options to edit or replace with a premade.. no X or delete, nothing.

I tried searching how to delete headers but was getting results that didn't apply to my issue (i dont know how to state "how to delete headers" any clearer)

Any one know how??

Hey there! You should be able to set that in your Pages tab, by clicking the page in the menu. That will allow you to control the header (or lack thereof).

Ahh, so these are product pages? It isn't possible right now to change those to a different page type, which is probably why you are seeing that.

Going to the page option is as effective as trying to delete the header from tha page itself. In the drop down menue there is a "no header" option, however selecting it does nothing. Somethings broken. I've tried it a dozen times with both available menues. It'll select it, but not be able to save the change.

Purhaps there should be a save changes button.

At this point I'm going to have to delete the page completely and start over. Sucks!

What page of your site are you having trouble with, @amandascott? It's possible the area at the top isn't a header section but is a section element instead.

Can you also please explain how to delete the header on all pages (but not on the pages where we now have a slideshow)?

You would need to go to those pages and change the page type to no-header. We don't currently have a way to change page types all at once, unfortunately.

I am having the same problem,this new header has suddenly appeared and I have no way to remove it,like others before me I have gone to the PAGES part to click no header and it won't let me.It won't let me edit it as in REMOVE-driving me mad,I hate the changes that Weebly has been making.Please look at www.boerboeluk.com under BREEDERS look at Colossus page,please remove that crappy header,thanks.

I cannot get any of the suggestion to "remove header" to work.  And, I don't see the point in moving forward with a design until this issue is solved.  HOW can the header be removed!?
