Forum disappeared

Hi,

My forum here has disappeared.  The forum was the standard one under build i.e. it was not an app. The developer tools shows some warnings and this error:

generateForum.php?service=talki&elementid=769967970328725946&ineditor=0&user_id=26003095:1 GET https://26003095.weebly.embed.talkiforum.com/embed/1.js?login_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.weebly.com%2Fweeb... net::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

Any idea what to do to get my forum back?

Thanks.

It seems like Talki might not have renewed the SSL certificate used by their scripting. Try disabling SSL for your site on the Settings tab and re-publishing, @Rhubarb.

It looks like the embedded forum is working for me, although since i'm not logged into your forum I don't know if I should be seeing anything or not.

Are you not seeing anything at all in the space (in other words it's just white not not showing a place to log in or anything)?

I see the error now. You might need to go to http://tal.ki and check with them, since the error is coming from their end. We did retire our forum element, though, so you might end up needing to use code from Tal.ki in an embed code element instead.

I am getting the 500: Internal Server Error most of the time @Adam, Tal.ki have been taken over by some other forum company so I guess their IT support has gone downhill. You say you have retired the forum element but it is still there in the page builder. Will it be retired and are there plan to have another forum?

Thanks.

Hi @Rhubarb As far as I know the forum element will not be coming back, although you should be use the embed element as Adam suggested. Smiley Happy
