Checkbox "required" not working

Dear Weebly Community

I have added a checkbox to my contact form and made it required. Unfortunately the form can be sent regardless...

Any ideas?

Thanks for your post, @KMUAS.

After enabling the option, did you publish your website? If you did, can you clear your browser cache and try again?

Yes, I have published the site after the change and tried it with a cacheless browser (+ Safari, Firefox, Chrome).

Very odd that some contact forms can be sent without filling out any fields at all.

Additionally, sometimes I am getting the forms (when testing) to the e-mail-addresses I defined, sometimes I do not (it usually stops working after 4 times). 

Edit: I tried it with a browser just now - didn't work. With mobile it did though... very strange (?). Multiple customers/sites affected.

Help is greatly appreciated!
