Change the Color of Print Site-Wide to Black

I recently changed the theme of my site as my old these was not responsive. I'm using birdseye dark.

Having a major problem with the blog pages. Some of the posts did not change their text to white and disappeared onto the black background. I worked out how to change the background from black to a dark grey. But now when readers leave a comment the reply form field fill is black and the text is black and invisible.

I have been trying to find the values in the html code but I am illiterate and just chancing it. Each time I change something I need to publish it to preview it and I have not managed to find the values for the actual reply form.imagepublished reply form black text on black background

I cannot find a way to preview the reply form in the editor other than publishing. It is most frustrating and I need to sort it out as I want the blog to be usable and friendly for readers,

Anyone got any similar experiences/solutions? Or know of a similar thread? I searched but could not find...

thanks

I did not call this post by that title - I called it 'blog reply form text black on black' - the title does not reflect the problem I am describing and was auto-selected somehow. Sorry I am new to this forum

Square

Using a standard theme with no modifications should have solved that for you, @graemeleak. It might be easiest to switch back to a standard theme again and re-publish, rather than customize more of the CSS.
