I am trying to create a link (new page) in my footer. I do not want it in my main navigation - only in the footer. Every time I try I get an error message.
These are the steps I have taken in the weebly editor:
Footer - Navigation (on) - Customize Navigation - Add navigation link ->
Then the Add Navigation Link pop up window comes up and I select:
Link to: standard page
Standard page: create new page
Name: I name it (Contact Us) and click Save.
Then I get an error message that says: An error has occurred, please try again.
I do not know what the problem is. Am I doing something wrong? If so, what is the process for creating a new page that is only visable in the footer? Or is this a bug?
Side note: I wish Weebly error messages were more descriptive.

Update: In the meantime, I did a workaround by moving the subscription feature to the footer and putting a contact us form on the homepage. Not what I wanted but this will do for now.
