footer links

How do I link to the footer? I have tried hilighting what I would like to link to (as per usual linking procedure) but nothing appears to allow me to create a link. It seems like it should be obvious- what am I missing?

Hey there! You should be able to link in the footer the same way you would elsewhere, though some plugins and blockers can interfere with the toolbar. Is it that bar that isn't appearing for you?

Thanks for getting back to me. I figured it out a few days ago. If I recall, the problem was I was in Pages instead of Build.

I do have the problem that the bar is not appearing. When I highlight a category to create a link, the bar does not appear. I've tried being in Pages and Build (and all the others), but I cannot get the bar. In my first effort, I did get the bar and created a "Privacy" link. It was when I tried to create the second link that I ran into a dead end.

If you see that happen, try refreshing the editor or exiting and reopening your site in it.
