Cannot change font size

I am starting to get extremely frustrated with the text editing bar in Weebly. Whenever I try to bold or change the size of font, it rarely ever works. I have to reload over and over to see if it'll increase the size. I am so fed up and looking for answers.

Hi @adrabner, that's an annoying problem. What browser are you using to access the Weebly editor?

I am also having this issue and everything was fine untila  few days ago. Using Google Chrome browser I am also tried Internet Explorer and I still have this issue. It is very frustrating because I will need to go back into the post and change the font size once it is fix and it also doesn't look correct in the smaller font size.

Hello PowerPunch! Sorry for the trouble. From your description on sizing, it sounds like you might want to try changing the size in the Theme menu instead, as that allows more fine control over font sizes.

I have same problem with Chrome browser, just lately, suddently.

BOLD and Change font size, don't work lately, sometimes, it suddently works, but mostly don't.

And even if it let you bold, It will not let you un-bold, unless you refresh the browser or close the post, reopen.

Then I switched to use IE browser, then it works fine.

I have the latest version of Chrome. Is this a glitch, error in latest version of Chrome? Anyone knows?

Hi all,

I've just had a play with it on Chrome. It was working fine 5 minutes ago on version 57.0. I've just updated to version 58.0 and can confirm some definite 'issues' with the text boxes in the Weebly editor. Inconsistency is certainly a good word for it because it does work but at seemingly random times.

The + does occasionally work, but interestingly it sometimes causes the highlighted text to delete. I'm able to replicate quite consistently this by clicking on the top border (or just above) of the + icon and then back in the center - highlighted text often disappears. Ctrl+Z or CMD+Z to undo is a quick fix. The last word in a highlighted section also seems to react differently that the rest of the selection.

As far as Bold goes - for now you can use Ctrl+B or CMD+B to toggle Bold off and on instead of refreshing the browser.

Other shortcuts that work in Weebly Editor text element.

Ctrl+I or CMD+I = itallics
Ctrl+U or CMD+U = underline

Still experimenting with changing font size shortcuts - anyone know of them?

Cheers, Mark

Sorry for the trouble, guys. Our engineers are looking into what changed with that version of Chrome so they can fix the root cause. Thanks for your patience!

I am experiencing the same thing right now. All my headlines shrunk and I have them set at 100 and they are barely above a 32 pt font Smiley Sad

Go to Theme > Change Fonts and check your font size settings there, @lovewelltv. It also looks like you might have put your subheadline text above your headline text.
