Can't hide my footer and navigation from the landing page...
Hi! I'm new to Weebly and have a very little skills of coding. I used to do that 10 years ago as a kid.. Wish I could get those skills back now!
Anyhow, I would like to have a simple landing page with only picture as a background and a title. The navigation bar is okay to be there. But I hate the footer which shows as a grey panel and the white section undearneath the header picture.
Is there a way to delete those that the picture would fill up the whole space? I mean, If you could not scroll the page down at all, that would be best.
I'm trying to hide the footer but even though I found a lot of different coding methods / tutorials from here I didn't manage to do it... I know it also depends on the selected theme maybe?
I like how the page looks at first: all black and white texts. But when you scroll down, the navigation menu follows and changes to white/black (that I can choose from the design part). Can I make that stay only up?
Anyway, if someone could help me with these I would appreciate very much.

@Hanski: easiest might be to make your home page as splash page.

Agreeing with Bobafett, I hate the big spaces too. I've found the easiest way to handle those is to look at the "No Header" and Spash page options and find one that works with how I want the page to be presented. Other times I'll try my luck with CSS editing to actually change the colors of those backgrounds, but it's a headache for me, so definintely easier to see if a page setup already available can work for you.
