Hi all,
I need to be able to add some code outside of the blog sidebar. There appears to be no way to do this - why is that? And can it be changed?
The reason is simple. On mobile, the blog sidebar looks crap so I had to hide it (I spent way too long attempting to style it so decided to go nuclear and get rid of it when viewed on mobile). BUT, it also breaks my newsletter pop up code which is placed in an Embed Code widget at the bottom of the sidebar (because this is the only place I can put any code). So, if I could put an Embed Code widget at the bottom of the blog page instead of the sidebar, my problem would be solved.
Any ideas or tips?
Let me guess - it's not a supported feature but I should suggest it in the Vote For Features section? I would do that if I thought it would make any difference, but my other voted features posts have received zero feedback from Weebly dev, so....

If you add your widget code to the Footer Code field for your blog page on the Pages tab, that might get you what you need. Since this is placed right before the closing </body> tag, you might need to add some additional HTML or styling for it to have proper padding and margins, etc.
