Automatic redirect within Weebly site
When I first created my site, I had a page, let's say it was titled abc.html. Since then, I have deleted that page and made a page titled abcdef.html. Note: both are subpages of my Weebly site.
Unfortunately, Google still thinks abc.html exists and it appears prominently as a search result when users search for my website. Users get a 404 page error when clicking on it. abcdef.html appears much lower in the search results, usually only under "more results from www.xxxxxxxx.com"
In the long-term, I can let Google sort this out. But in the short-term, I need to redirect abc.html to abcdef.html seamlessly. Is there a way to do this? I tried 301 redirecting from one page to the other, but it never worked.
Any suggestions?

301 redirect works on the domains hosted by weebly itself. The hosting by resellers have issues with 301 redirects (specially crappy iPower).
