Anyone a programmer??? Where does weebly store our images even when they're deleted from the page?
Hiya - I need to delete an image from a page - https://www.goodbyegoodgirl.com/uploads/5/9/2/9/5929341/published/tree.jpg - and I have absolutely no idea how to do that. I think this is a behind-the-scenes weebly thing. Is anyone a programmer???

Hi @lorikirstein!
File and image deletion happens when you delete the element that was used to upload it. We can manually delete files, though, so if you can't delete the element used to upload the image let me know.

Adam, thank you!
Yes. There is an image that apparently lives here:
I no longer have the page this image was on. Perhaps I am wrong about that? If this link above exists, does that mean that the image is still on a page somewhere?
I am so grateful for your response. I'm working to avoid being sued for an honest mistake.
Cheers!
Lori

Even though the file is there it may not actually be used anywhere on your website. For example, if you deleted the page that you had it on then the file would still be stored with your files even though it's no longer on the published site. Did you want me to delete the file anyway?

Hi again! I think the time difference is not our friend, but I thought I would reiterate that I have a legal need to know when the image has been removed so that I can reduce the harm from someone who wants to sue me for the use of that image.
So, please let me know when you have accomplished this.
Thank you!

Adam, have you received my messages from yesterday and today?
In case you have not, please remove that link. My attorney needs to see that you have in fact removed it, which can be proved by your replying to this email.
Thank you very much!

Sorry for the delay, @lorikirstein! Not sure how I missed this.
I've removed the file for you, so it should give a 404 error now.
