Adding a buy link...problem

  For reference, visit my website:murderthrillermysteries.com and go to the page that features the novel, "The Killing Ploy."  I want to add a Smashwords buy link below "Kindle." Here are my steps and my question.

---I click Edit Site,

---I click on "The Killing Ploy" tab to the left of the Front Page book covers,

---I then click on the :Buy Now" text box,

---Then below "Kindle," I type in "Smashwords."

---Then I click on the chain link icon

---And the Amazon url shows up.

     Do I simply delete that Amazon url and insert the one for Smashwords, or will that deletion affect the link to Amazon?

All of your steps are correct. Are you trying to link to both Amazon and Smashwords?

  Yes, I'm trying to link both Smashwords and Amazon in the Buy Now text box to their respective websites.

A single button can only link to one site, so you'd need to add a new button if you want to link to both. I'd probably use different text for each button so it's more clear to site visitors where they are going.

  Sorry, but I'm not clear about the above response.  

  On www.murderthrillermysteries.com, I click on the "Buy Now!" text box under The Killing Ploy ebook cover.

  Below "Kindle," I type in "Smashwords."

  Then I click on the chain link icon.

  Question: I then delete the Amazon URL in that chain link drop down and insert the Smashwords URL?

  Question: Will this Amazon deletion affect the Kindle link above?

  Question: If this deletion does affect the Kindle link above, then how can I put the Smashwords link in under that Kindle link?

It sounds like you might be selecting the other link with it. Instead adding the word to the existing text element, try dragging a new text element underneath your kindle link and adding your new link to that.
