I can't seem to figure out WHERE to put the H1 tag information...why is there not just a clear and concise answer to this?

Hello @brentdd!
<h1> tags are not defined in the CSS files on our themes. If you wish to define them, you will need to edit the CSS file and save it as a custom theme. To edit the CSS file, go to the THEME tab and select the Edit HTML/CSS button on the bottom left. You'll then see the main_style.css file in the list of ASSETS. For information on defining <h1> tags and for other CSS assistance, you may take a look at helpful sites like w3schools.com.
Then, to place <h1> headings on your pages, you would need to use the EMBED CODE element and place them as HTML code within the elements. Again you may refer back to w3schools.com for clarification on how to properly format your code.
Best of luck to you and happy Weeblying!

A quick search of the Community reveals the following....
See Adam's post here....https://community.weebly.com/t5/SEO/H1-Tag/m-p/13008#M505
The proper place for an H1 tag is somewhere within the body of the page and not in the header. Placing it in the header might actually break some of the code of your site and cause it to display improperly. Generally, the best place to me to put it is at the top of all your content (the first element on the page, in other words), since it's meant to be a heading for content:
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_hn.asp
There's also an App for that...

Thanks for your post, @Alanket. We don't yet provide access to that for sites built using the newer website editor (this applies to Square Online Stores as well as some Weebly sites).

Hi @Alanket It's not possible to add H1 tags to the new editor, but the teams release new updates to the editor quite often. I'm not sure if H1 is on the immediate roadmap, but I can certainly pass along your feedback.

This is a necessary code element for search engine recognition. Still no access to apps either.
All I ever hear in response is that it will be passed along but no changes are ever implemented. Direct me to someone who won't pass it along but will actually make these necessary changes immediate.

I dont see any option to add h1 tag. How can I add? I am using drag/move editor of weebly and I dont see any option to edit code. This is very simple and very important feature for search engine recognition. I would be shocked if you dont have it available. please help.
