Question - Disable Designer Platform

I've been with Weebly since 2012 and had the designer platform enabled on my account since 2013. I signed up for the beta testing for the new designer platform last  year when I found out about it, and I still haven't received any emails. Not even an email notifying me if I was accepted or denied for the beta testing. Since it doesn't look like anything is going to be happening for the new designer platform, my question is:

If I disable the designer platform, will my dashboard be like the new ones? Meaning, will I have the promote, domains, google apps, etc tabs as the new Carbon dashboards? And if I disable the designer platform, will I be able to turn it back on for when the new designer platform releases?

Only reason why I'm asking this is because I have NO sites published on my designer platform because I can't offer the apps needed for my clients websites. The way I've been building and designing client websites is having them invite me as admin to their website on their own Weebly accounts. I still have access to their site from my account and if I need them to add an app to their website, I email them letting them know the app that needs to be downloaded. Sent the ones I mainly use are free, my clients have no problem doing this.

Hey @ChristinThomas!

You can disable the designer platform, although once you do there won't be a way to turn it back on for your account.  Since you aren't using it then it shouldn't matter for that particular account.  You can also still sign up at http://designers.weebly.com for a Designer-only account (no My Sites area), so can have a separate account should you want to use it.

The link is for the current version of the Designer platform and not the beta. Smiley Happy

Also, will my dashboard be the same as the new Carbon dashboards and include the features it offers?

If you sign up at the above link, you won't have the Carbon dashboard or features since it's the current version of Designer.

Hello,

I signed up for weebly designer, and realized it's not what I'm looking for. And don't use it.

And now it keeps redirecting me back to designer when I try and log into weebly.com.

Can you please help me with the re-direct issue?

And/or just cancel my designer account?

Thank you

Thanks for posting, @DTA_Digital. If you log out and log back in you should get into your standard Weebly account now.

This is not the case, it keeps fowarding to designer, despite being logged out.

How hard is it to place a link on the designer log in screen that resets the cookie or takes you to the personal log in.... All those very expensive and debt creating college degrees working here ...yet no common sense simple solutions to implement... All that debt! What a waste and how embarrasing.
