I just replied to your other post about this, actually - if you quit and re-open your browser or visit using a different browser you'll be prompted to enter a password again. Anyone else who hasn't entered it yet will also get prompted to enter that when the visit any password protected pages.

Thanks for the suggestion, @NHQuilter. I agree that would be nice to have added. One thing you could suggest is that they quit the browser application; that will end the session so it will always prompt for the password again if they open the browser and go back.

How do we make suggestions to Weebly/Square?  These days people leave their browsers open for weeks or months (on phones, tablets, or computers).  Based on pretty much every business application I've ever used, the site password feature should:

  1. Allow the user to log out when desired (as has already be mentioned in another post)
  2. Automatically log users out after some specified period of inactivity (set by an admin user)
  3. Lock out a user after a specified number of failed login attempts.  This prevents 'brute force' hacks where the hacker uses a computer to try millions of ID/ password combinations.  Such attacks are commonplace now.

There's a couple different ways to raise a feature request, @randysla. You can post it here on the Vote on Features board, or since this is a Square Online Store request post it to the Feature Request topic board on the Square Seller Community.

I realize this is an old thread - but is it possible to have a 'log-out' for password pages?
I manage a page for a group of older ladies who are very concerned about the fact that the page let them in when they came back  to the site and didn't prompt for a password EVERY time they come to the page.
Thank you!

that is good advice but my situation is I am pn the professional plan and trying to setup a blog page with site password so I + page went to visiblity and clicked site password and nothing came up to create a password.

also trying to add members to access.  can't find my emails.  How do I setup a members area and access that it says we get up to 100 members .  HELP

and also I can't email my email list it won't allow newsletter nothing which is BULL>   professional plans should get able to send out newsletters or emails every day if we want.  or at least give up so many to send a month.

I hate this.  wix doesn't do this and shopify doesn't either.   but I paid for this site and worked $$$ hours to build it. and paid for a domain name.  if I don't get some changes soon and this fixed.  I am contacting my bank to charge back all that I paid.  BBB said weebly was going to give this what they marketed to me.  I expect it to be done.

please I have an event in two days.
