I have a paid domain, www.bridgettefowlerpoetry.com, but am needing to change the name of the website. I purchased a new domain, www.bridgettefowlerbooks.com, but I don't seem to be able to redirect the old to the new or new to the old using the new name. I have read the threads, but don't see the correct paths to follow Weebly's instructions. Also, in changing the domain (website name), will I always need to keep the old domain? I really just want a name change with the same website setup. I definately need some guidance.

Thanks for your post, @Bridgette64.
Since you bought both through us, it will be a lot simpler for you. Here is what you'll need to do:
1. Open your site in the website editor and go to the Settings tab.
2. Click on the Change button for your site address and use the option to use a domain you already own.
3. Enter the new domain name and follow the rest of the steps to assign it to your site.
4. Go ahead and publish the site, and it will now load from the new domain.
5. Exit the editor, click on the menu on the top right and choose Domain.
6. Click on the old domain to edit it.
7. Click on the Set Destination option on the top left, and choose the External URL option.
8. Enter the new domain name as the destination and save your changes - this will make the old domain forward to the new one which is now loading your website.
