get facebook to use the right image when entering my url in a post.

I am very confused. I have read about quite a few people trying to fix this and failing. My thumbnail for FB is not my image.https://www.waprogressiveparty.org/

Thanks for your post, @kayguetter. 

In order for that image to be used, it should be the first image on the homepage of your site and also be of a large enough size to meet Facebook's criteria. Your site logo isn't large enough, so the first image it finds is the Washington Bernicrats image.

Thank you. After trial and error I did find it was the first image on my page and not in my header.
