I have published my site in Oct 2019. Why do the statistics of my site only show visits from April 2020 onwards.
I am situated in Germany.

Did you change the address of your website in April of last year? If you did then that would cause that since statistics are tied to the specific URL of a site.
Nothing changed since puplished in 2019.
Can you contact our support team? I don't see anything obvious as to why it shouldn't include that data.
