Uploading a PDF

I would like to upload a PDF that can be viewed without downloading. In addition I would like to make it view only. Is that possible?

Hi @kesterk I believe if you use the Scribd element you will be able to display the pdf without downloading. The only problem is sometimes that app is a bit finicky with pdf files. 😕 The other option is to upload your doc to Scribd directly and then use the Embed Code element to display it. You don't have to use Scribd, either. If there is another third party company that can provide html you can use that as well. Smiley Happy

I'd like to know the answer to this too. The Scribd app DOES allow for downloading and there is no View Only option. I need to be able to post multi-page PDF files that people can see, but not download. Ideally, I'd like to see them in a gallery view style, but I'll take what I can get. Is there any way to post PDFs that can be seen, scrolled through, etc., but NOT downloaded/printed?

I think if you create the html code on Scribd directly you can choose to disable the download option. It may have changed. Have you looked into a Google doc option? Google usually always provides permissions and I'm sure a download option would be one that's possible.
