Remove text element

Hi,

I want to update my website.

I wanted to remove some text and title elements. The thing is that I can remove the content, but the space to click and add text remains although there seem to be no more boxes to replace.

Thanks for helping me to get this sorted.

Linda.

Hey whitemonkey,
That is how it should go.
Only now there is no more 'frame' and no x to click.

Hey,

I cleared cashe/cookies and the browser is up to date, I think. I updated my website in March and all was fine then.

I'm using Chrome.

Can u screen shot what u have when u r editing the image? Theres gotta be a way to remove the image Can u drag the image on to a new section?

Or add a new section  and drag new text elements across  and start again ??

I can add new elements - I have added a new element - but I'm not sure if I can remove them again without creating the same situation or worse.

@Bautel

How many pages do u have?

Is it like it on them too?  If u have

Try adding a new page, hide it from view...   add new sections  and elements to see if u get the frame around the element

I'm not keen on trying it on any of the other pages before I know how to fix it if it goes wrong there too. But I tried a new page and there is no problem there.

Interesting.....that on a new page u can delete the elements

Why not just rebuild the psges??

Some thing u added  somwhere..

Rebuilding would cost me a lot of time and I'm already racing against a deadline for a lot of stuff.

Also, I'd rather know what goes wrong.

Which page of the site was this on, @Bautel? I checked a few different pages and didn't see that, but I don't know which page it was you were working on.

Hey Adam,

It's this one: https://www.albot-albot.com/nieuwigheden-acties.html

You'll only see the spaces, because it's still published using the space bar to get rid of the text.

I'm not sure how they got that way, though I've removed them for you @Bautel. I tested with some new text and title elements and those worked as expected, so hopefully it shouldn't be a problem for you now.

Hey Adam,

Yes, it was quite odd. No idea either how that happened. But you fixed it! Thanks for that.

Best regards,

Linda.
