Need help with a script.

Hello everybody! I'm brand new to Weebly (less than a week here).
I've built and published before, but that was over 10 years ago, and I've forgotten more than I remember. LOL

Anywayyyy.....
I am currently still using the free package, but plan on upgrading and getting a domain once I get to a point that I'm happy with my page.

The page that I'm building is an everything-pokemon page.
This issue that I've run into, that has been driving me insane for the last 24 hours is this......
I want to put a "IV Calculator" on my page. I won't bother explaining what that is, to anyone who doesn't know the PoGo game. LOL
But the source is here IV Calculator - GitHub.

You can see it working on the author's page HERE.
I downloaded the .zip and uploaded everything into my directories.
The only issue I ran into with that process was this.....
In the process of uploading, the folders matched up with Weebly EXCEPT for 2 instances.
1.  In Weebly the images directory is called images (or image?) and in thne program zip it's called img.

My solution was that I cnaged the weebly directory name to img.

2.  The other problem was a directory/folder in the program/zip named app. I could find a way to add a directory at that level (the same level as the assets directory). I'm not sure what solution there might be for this? Am I missing something? Can I not create that level of directory?

The final part of my question is a super-noob question......
Once I'm able to get everything uploaded correctly (assuming that it's possible),

How do I make it work?

I know there are  <script type="xxxxxxxxxxx tags that I will need to put into my header, right?
I'll need to know exactly what to place there.
And then I think I'll need to place something on my page with {embed code}....CORRECT???
I realize that this is a pretty high level of assistance that I'm asking for.
I'm REALLLLLY hoping that someone here will take this on.

Thanks in advance, to anyone who will consider helping me with this!!!

Anything like <script src=""...> will need to go in the Header Code field for the page you want to add this to. You can find that by going to the Pages tab, clicking on the page, then clicking on SEO Settings.

For file locations, this is where things get a little tricky. How have you been uploading your files? In the theme editor?

Yes....

Theme editor > Edit HTML / CSS.

Everything did seem tricky, but that made it more fun.
BUT.....then I came to the two issues with file placement that I mentioned in my post.

That's when I figured I'd better consult someone here. lol

Anything you upload in the Theme editor will have this path:

/files/theme/filename.extension

Try using that for the path to the script files you're linking to.
