Dear Weebly Community,
I recently posted a topic about removing my log in tab. I now would like to have it back. I went into the member's tab and selected the "show login button". However, it will not show up in my navigation bar. Please help, it would be much appreciated! My website is: https://picfiximageediting2020.weebly.com/
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Cody

Oh! Okay, yes you can totally do that. You have to enable that from the Store backend under Settings>Checkout>Advanced Settings. I've updated it for you so you should see it on the live site now.

Hi @CC3992 It looks like you are using a free site at the moment. In order to use the Membership feature you would need to upgrade to a Pro plan or higher. The previous login button you saw was for Customer Account which allows visitors to save checkout information for the cart feature. Membership allows you have specific pages on your site for exclusive content. It is not possible to have them both enabled at once, but if you upgrade you can use either option.

Dear Bernadette,
Thank you for your response! How exactly would I turn on the login button to save customer information? I guess I didn't specify enough. In the member's tab, I have "show login button in site menu" checked, but it does not appear. Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Cody

Hi Cody. It won't appear on the live site until you upgrade. It's a little confusing, but you can have either Customer Accounts (for checkout) or Membership (for private site pages) but not both. Customer Accounts are available for all plans, but Membership requires a hosting upgrade (Pro plan or higher). Does that help clear it up?

Dear Bernadette,
Thanks for getting back to me! I would like to have the log in tab for the free account that saved customer information, I think it is Customer Accounts. I do not want to have memberships or anything else. How would I enable the login tab for the free account? Sorry for the confusion!
Sincerely,
Cody

Hi @Bernadette
Can you help and remove Log In tab/section from my website as well?
I did not add it as there is no need for it, it just appeared there.
Thank you.

Thanks for your post, @MattJ. I don't see a login tab on the site you've linked. Did you still need help with that?

hey @Adam
It appears when I view the site on my mobile device on the left side toggle. I'm not sure why, I've tried to disable it.

It's possible it's an issue with the older custom theme your site is using. If you temporarily switch to a newer standard theme does that fix it?
