Image behind navigation bar and logo on top of it

I've been looking the whole day for a tutorial or something similar to my problem but I haven't found anything.
Also I sadly don't know much about HTML or CSS which I guess is a problem here :'D

I really would love to put an image behind my navigation bar and also add my own logo on it. Right now my logo is above the navigation menu and I can only change the background of the page itself, while the footer and the header, in which the nav bar is, stay white.
I want it to be the exact opposite, so that the header has an background image with the nav menu on it and the body of the page stays white.

@Liloli1997:  simple.  Contact the site and ask them which theme they are using and how did they do it?

I think you'll need to set the background of your navigation to a transparent appearance. I might be able to help you. What is the address of your website?
