I would like to edit the raw html files, index.html, etc, in a text editor
Greetings,
I want to edit my html files using a text editor then upload it to my site. Or, just edit the files on the Weebly site. Can I do that? If so, how?
Ideally I would like to edit the index.html files.
Thank you,
Jim

If you're using the standard Weebly editor (the dark one) then you can edit HTML/CSS directly within the editor, no need to use a text editor (unless you want to export and reimport). But - if you're using the newer editor designed specifically for stores (the lighter one) then you can't edit the code.
To access your code in the standard editor go to Theme-Edit HTML/CSS. If you only want to add an override to the existing code you needn't delve into the code, you can place this in the Header or Footer Code section of your website found under Setting-SEO, or in the same places (found in Page-SEO Settings) for any individual page.
Hope this helps, Gary
