How do I display the date in a header?

This is my issue as well, only I'm trying to have the copyright year for my site automatically update every year (I have the copyright notice on every page of my site so it's a big pain going through and updating them every year). I need a detailed description of what sort of code to use and how to use it, for those not super familiar with HTML.

Hello! We wouldn't be able to help with specific code here. You may want to check other resources for an easy way to do that in HTML. Once you have that information, however, you should be able to use an Embed Code element to place it on your site, which will let the code display on the live site.
