How do I add an image as a background for the Header/Navigation section?
I have minimal HTML / CSS code experience, but have spent the last few hours looking up online any way to edit the background behind the Header/Navigation section with no success!
Is this possible?
Is someone able to provide the code and where exactly on the Code Editor to insert it?
I have added the images I want to use to the 'images' folder under 'ASSETS'.
I can see it has been done on this website http://oceanpearlstud.weebly.com/

Weebly employees are not able to assist with code edits, but since you posted a link to your site another user may be able to help you out. If you do edit the css/html area of your theme your site would be considered a "custom" theme. It's possible you may not be able to receive assistance from support unless you revert back to a standard Weebly theme. If you are able to add the css override to Settings>SEO>Header your site will still be a standard Weebly theme and it is much easier to troubleshoot. I.e. if you run into an issue, you can remove the code, see if the issues resolves, and the paste it back if the override was not the cause. Just something to think about when you are making these types of edits.

I have been adding code into the Code Editor, I am not quite sure how to use the Settings>SEO>Header section.
Should it work exactly the same?
Will the amendment appear immediately as a preview or do I have to Publish the site to see the changes?

Code added there is placed in the header area of the the site, so it works essentially the same but without needing to customize the theme. There are some things you can't do there, though, like uploading images.

I know you are not able to assist with the code edits, but are you able to advise whether it is actually possible to add an image behind the Header/Navigation section? I plan to keep looking for the coding but wanted to check before I spend a few hours online.
I originally used the Cento theme and the only amendment I have made to the coding is adding an external font.
I currently have a white background and green logo but I would like to replace this with an image featuring the logo preferably.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What if you chose a theme that already has an image in the background section? Birdseye2 is one of the themes with this style.

I did use this theme in the end because I wasn't able to find the coding, thank you for your suggestion. It doesn't look how I wanted but it'll do!
