How can I add my sites to a signature for posting in the Community?

I've searched my Settings and I can't figure out a way to permanently add the URLs of my sites, as a signature, for posting here in the Community.  Can anyone help or should I raise this as a New Idea?

Hey!

I deleted your idea, as this is an available feature already.

Here's how it works:

1. Click on your avatar in the top right of your page.

2. Select Settings.

3. From the options under "Personal Profile," select "Personal Information."

4. "Signature" is the third line (under first and last name). You should be able to add your information there.

Let me know if you don't see it or if you need help adding anything specific. You can use HTML to add links and images.

Thanks, and enjoy your day!

Erin

@jaylethbridge - You're quite welcome. I'm glad to see that you used the coding to tweak your signature.

@310EI - Well, I am still "trying" to add FB page to it, but again, it does not "stick" for some reason. I know that there might be a limit and not to sure what that is, but the small part that you added that I tried to re-edit as FB page did not stay Smiley Sad
Thanks for the intial help.

Regards, Jay

@jaylethbridge - When you have time, send a PM to me with how you want your signature to look including FB line and the link to your FB page. I'll see what I can do but it probably won't be today.

Hello, @jaylethbridge...

I have literally tried 60 - 70 combinations of the signature lines for you and I tested each one in my signature area so I could see what it looks like. Then put my signaure line back in so people didn't think I was you. Otherwise, sending the code to you 60x or more would have taken too long.

I added your facebook page and a Google Map link of your general area. I kept the verbiage where you're located but there was no way to add the other longer line with what you do.

I used bit.ly to shorten your website/facebook/NewtonAbbot URLs but when they're clicked-on, they load those pages respectively (conserves total characters used within the signature).

Before adding the new coding to your signature area, please save the other signature coding in case you don't like what I did for you this time (I'll PM the coding to you after I post this response).

Below is the revised signature with your Facebook link:

I realize it may not be what you wanted but hopefully you can use it.

@310EI - I have replied to your PM with thanks.
Really appreciate all of your hard work in puting this together. Much appreciated.

Saving the codings and will play later (maybe tomorrow) with my signature niow. Not feeling to great this end. Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Many thanks and regards, Jay

@jaylethbridge - I sent the coding via PM for two more signature possibilities (both use your regular URLs).

AHA!  I was wondering how people were doing this (other than typing and linking it every time).  Thanks for the info!

Here goes the test shot... drumroll, please.....

@310EI Thank you very much!  I will certainly keep that in mind, as I do tend to get in there and 'play around' with coding once in a great while, lol!  Smiley Wink
