Error message that domain is already in use

I'm trying to use website builder but its giving me a message "The domain is already in use" It seems weebly is tired to my domain and it will not let me do anything else. Even If I unpublish my site. it still thinks its a weebly site. My domain is shoresbaptistchurch.org. Is it anything you can do to help.

Can you try again, @JB2017? It should work for you now.

If you'd left the Settings page open, you might need to exit and re-open the editor.

@JB2017:  Perhaps the error is on iPage side.  May be you shoud give them a call.

What site are you trying to use the domain with? Does it currently use a weebly.com subdomain?

Its not on weebly.com. If you look at http://shoresbaptistchurch.org Its unpublished. If I try to edit the site with any software it still says its a weebly site.

This is what I get on my page now. But when I do anything it still tells me I'm connected to weebly. Are you able to clear that?image

So in other words, you're trying to use the domain name with a site you're building somewhere else other than directly with us?

It will only let me build it with weebly at this time. I dont want to use weebly with this site. I have used weebly with the site and having this issue. Somehow my domain is stuck in a weebly loop. I have contacted both Ipage and my old service with hostgator. They said contact weebly. Can you see anything that needs to be cleared by domain from weebly?

I would push back on iPage about this - if there's something funky within your iPage account that needs action by us, iPage has channels that they can use to have our engineers resolve the issue for them. I'm not seeing anything within your account with us or in general that should prevent you from using a domain with them.

Thank you for all your help. I will see what Ipage says about it.

Good luck! I'm sure that whatever the cause is can be resolved.
