Embedded Webpages

Hi, if I put in tons of embedded pages, like specific tweets, will it degrade the performance of my website?

Also, is there a way to embed a regular (non-Twitter) webpage so that it looks like the Twitter embed?

This is the code from the Twitter embed:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Severe thunderstorms, including a couple of strong tornadoes and destructive hail, are expected this afternoon in the Southern Plains.<br><br>The latest forecast: <a href="https://t.co/I7zsGnIBZ2">https://t.co/I7zsGnIBZ2</a> <a href="https://t.co/HlOauuJYgc">pic.twitter.com/HlOauuJYgc</a></p>&mdash; The Weather Channel (@weatherchannel) <a href="https://twitter.com/weatherchannel/status/1370815206562140165?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 13, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Welcome to the Community, @FreedomStan. Thanks for making your first post!

Any time you add third party content to a page it has the potential to slow things down if that third party service is slow to provide the content. As long as you limit how many you put on any individual page it shouldn't give you too much trouble, though.
