Auto play audio

I would like to have an audio file start to play when a tab is selected from my menu.  The original file was WMA  so I converted it to MP3 per community sugjestions.  Auto play is slected, the file discription appears on the page, but does not play (auto or otherwise.)  Any thoughts?  Thanks, Ray

What page of your site is that, @Welcomhome? I think it would help to see the page in action.

Ray again with a similar problem.  MP3 file is set to Autoplay at the begining of a slideshow (also set to autoplay.)  The slideshow starts, and runs fine.  The Audio file is there but does not start.
