Adding Alt Tags for SEO to Images

The Weebly SEO guide says what I have copied below about adding alt tags.  But when I go into the picture editor there is no alt tag option under advanced settings.  The only options given are centering and adding the picture to other pages in the website.  There must be a way to add alt tags and hopefully captions to images.  Any help?  Thanks.

Tried to paste in a section from the SEO guide under the titles of 'Image Alt Tag' and 'Image Captions'.  Error message says I have posted 'invalid HTML', so I'm deleting the pasted text.  The message on this page said to go into the image editor and click on 'advanced' where alt tag editing would appear.

It does - on mine. When you open the image there is a scroll bar on the right. The "advanced" is the last option. Click on it and you get 3 options, one of which is "alt text". I have a pro scheme so can't say what happens if you have FREEPLAN. But should be the same.
