Hello @seawitch!
When you click the Advanced settings on an image element, the Alt Text is set by default to say "Picture", which appears on the left. You can simply type there directly to replace the word "Picture". Clicking won't do anything, because there aren't additional options to navigate to, but you can type in the field on the left to add your Alt Text.
