import full-size images

I scanned some documents but when I drag them onto my (free) site they shrink from 1000 x 1400 to about half that size. The text becomes difficult to read. Can I import them full size onto my page? the file size is only 750K.

Hi, @Tipang!

The best approach for uploaded photos are to use JPEGs that are 72 DPI and no more than 1000 pixels on their longest side. Please try to resize your images outside of Weebly, and then upload them again.

Thanks,

Erin

I used to be able to upload full-size images for my portfolio. Now I can't anymore. I try to upload the exact same image that previously was full screen, and now it's only a few pixels wide. Why ??

I'm facing this same issue. I'm an artist and would like to display a couple images at full size - where they would go beyond the screen width but the viewer could scroll across the image. How can I do this?

The best way to do that would be to upload the image to an image element first as a sort of preview image, then use the linking option for the image to upload the original as a file. This way if someone clicks on the image they can view the full size version.

Was that to a standard image element, @Charlottem? Where on your site are you trying to add it?
