Site address in Weebly settings

Hello, I have a question: in my site.weebly.com it is possible to modify the site address (in Weebly settings first site title and category site) mantening all the registered information? Thank you very much for your help.

Hi! Yes to both. If you update the site title it will change on your website, though. You can choose whether or not to show it from that same Settings tab. Smiley Happy

Hello! Bernadette thank you for your prompt reply. But I think I have not explained myself at best. The problem I have is to change the address of my site and to transform it, for example, as follows: current address
lagodimontagna.weebly.com in the new address lagodimontagnapierluigi.weebly.com without losing anything set (the pages that make up the site) for the old address. I tried to change it on the settings page in the sub-item Generali, then updated and published. But when I do a search on google or type directly URL of lagodimontagnapierluigi.weebly.com does not find it, obviously if I type the old address lagodimontagna.weebly.com the search gives me a URL error not found (but this is correct because I modified the address of my site). So what is the correct procedure to change the address of my site (the title of the site I have already changed and now is fine) so that the maintain the settings and information of the previous address? Maybe once the address has been changed, updated and published the site (the one with the new address), it must spend some time to be displayed on internet? I apologize for my English, I hope this time to have been clear enough. I hope to hear from you soon.

In that case @Pierluigi, you might want to copy the site from your account dashboard, then publish the new site with the new address. You'll have two sites with identical content publishing to two different site addresses that way. You should see the copy option under the "..." button for the site.

Hi Adam, thanks for the information. I will try to make a copy of the site and publish it with the new address. But where do I find the copy option? You wrote me the following: ... you should see the copy option under the "..." button for the site. But nothing appears in the quotation marks. So I ask you to know under which button and in which page of the dashboard is the site copy option. And again: is there a way to connect the two sites (for example by link)? Thanks again for the answers you can give me. I apologize for my bad English. See you soon.

I made a copy for you, but you will find it here on the dashboard:

You can create a page in navigation that will connect to an external link. I believe this is what Adam is suggesting.

Hi Bernadette, thank you for the help you have given me so far.

I'm here again to ask you the following: to give more visibility in the site searches, the Meta Keywords, to be included in the SEO, must be written miniscuole, capital letters or is indifferent? Should they be written leaving a typing space between two consecutive ones and the separating comma (house, lake) or they must be written without space (house, lake)? Should the Meta Keywords have a different priority within the SEO string META KEYWORDS? And if yes, how and which to choose, for example those within the site address, those of the site title or those of the site description? Thanking you in advance for your attention and for your kind reply, a warm greeting.

I don't believe the capital letters will make a difference. You will want to add a comma between each word or series of words. Do you have some time to watch a webinar? One of our SEO gurus made a great Youtube video that goes into far more detail about SEO than I could provide. It's about an hour long, so you will definitely want to set aside some time to watch it, but it's super informative. Plus it is really helpful to watch the video AND follow along in your own site. He explains all of the settings and gives great examples and suggestions of what to put.
