How to create a link within embedded code showing tabular text?

The only way I could find to insert a table I had generated in Excel (mostly text) was to save the spreadsheet in .htm format, then display the source code in a browser and copy it into my Weebly site as an embedded code element.

Now I want to hypertext several fields from that table to URLs but I can't find any way to do it in Weebly.  If I highlight the section of the table to set a link, there is no prompt from the Weebly editor to enable a link to be inserted.

Any ideas?

Thank you for reaching out to us! You would have to make sure those sections are already linked as you'd like them to display before adding the custom HTML. We will display the section as you entered it, but you are not able to make changes inside of the editor.
