How do I export data from a contact form?

How do I export data from a form? It used to be an option but I can't seem to find it.

I have a form on www.thebear.shop for returns.  I have a good list of entries. I used the built in forms.  I still don't have the forms option on my dashboard.

Thanks for posting, @fordhamwt. When I click on the menu in your account, go to Website, then click on Form Entries I see entries to the form on your site. Do you see those?

SO the problem was as follows.  You said dashboard and that's where I was looking.  That's not where it is, though.  It's on the Website tab in the Overview section.

We've updated the dashboard since the earlier posts to this thread, so they don't unfortunately match what your dashboard looks like now. Glad you asked, though!

Hi All, 

I've read this thread but still stuggling with this a bit, not sure if the settings have changed again. I have forms on my site, and recieve the entries fine. But I cannot find how to export them easily. If I go into edit the site and click on a form and click view entries, I can see them but there is no option to export. If I go to the area in the Overview for the site as suggested above, I see an option called form entries but it seems that is just for messanger and pop-ups. I cannot see any entries for the forms on my site.

Any advice?

Hi @Rokeydubs We have a known bug at the moment that is preventing you from seeing the form entries in bulk and therefore exporting. I'm really sorry for the troubles. Have you submitted a ticket to support by chance? If so, the rep will make sure to tag you to receive bug updates.

I am trying to bulk export all my contact correspondance. Contact Us + Sign Ups. Any ideas on how to do this? 

There method explained earlier on the treads doesnt seem to work for me.

Hi @Loowatt You should be able to access the Form Entries page by clicking Website>Overview>Form Entries from the main dashboard.

The previous answer is now out-of-date as of April 2021. I contacted their support yesterday (2021-04-29) and they told me where it's now hidden. On the main page there's a link on the left, just under "Overview" called "Edit Site". Click it - don't worry, it won't actually edit the site (sigh...). Then you'll see the Form Entries button where you can Export all (you can choose which form to export via a drop-down menu).

WOW. Thank you. I was sitting here hitting my head against a wall for an hour trying to figure it out. What a weird place to put that and what a bad name for the tab.

Until last weekend Form Entries appeared on my Home screen and I could click on an arrow, get a list of all data and Download it. Now the Home screen has changed. The only way I can find to get my form entry data (other than the individual emails I still get) is to use Marketing/Marketing Lists/Contacts. BUT only emails, names and date added apear. I can't find how to get other data such as phone numbers, addresses and others.

Any hints or ideas please?

Thanks for your post, @DinkxiDunnit. It sounds like you've been updated to the newer dashboard. To view form entries, go to Website > Edit Site, then click on the Form Entries option you see there.

I'd like to download form entries from my business site. It used to be on the front page after log in. It isn't now.

Yes, a workaround does exist: I can go to the form through the editor and then copy-paste into a spreadsheet. Actually that doesn't work as the editor cuts off part of the addresses so I get email addresses like john.doe@gmail.... and physical mailing addresses are further butchered.

I don't want to have to look at each form entry and type it into our CRM manually one at a time. 

Has it just been relocated? I sure hope so.

I'd like to download all form entries, from all forms more efficiently. Currently, I have to individually click on each form and download its entries separately. Can we please add a way to download all form, all entries, at once?
