Gsuite setup problems

Tried to setup gsuite from within weebly using the free trial in early April, I came up against a few problems. Now I have been charged for gsuite and I still can't get it properly set up!

Problem:

In weebly, when accessing gsuite email I see:

This G Suite account is currently being configured. Check back soon to manage your email accounts.

When going to inbox, I get into a loop where the password is not accepted and i try to recover the account. Whatever, I do I am unable to recover the account details so cannot log in.

Any ideas what to do next?

Thanks.

It looks like you've submitted a ticket to our Customer Success team, which is great since it's unusual that it would be still in configuration. I do see that your domain isn't currently using G Suite's MX records. You'll want to add those for your domain in order for your email to work:

I'm currently having issues with my gmail.

I made the trial 2 days ago, wasn't receiving any mail.

I went ahead and purchased the plan, still no emails being received.

On weeblys end It's still on "G Suite account is currently being configured"

You have a couple Gsuite accounts setup. Can you please confirm which domain you are having trouble with? The type of error you are describing usually means you need to agree to the terms of service and/or verify the domain name. Are you able to log into the admin page?

Thanks for posting, @DA1. It looks like you haven't yet accepted Google's terms of service. From your Weebly dashboard, click on your account name on the top right and choose "G Suite". On the page that loads, click on the "..." next to "Go to inbox", choose "Google Admin", and they should walk you through accepting their terms of service.

Hello,

I'm experiencing a similar issue and submitted a ticket weeks ago, but never heard back.

I subscribed to the G Suite trial for one of my sites / URLS: commonwealthortho.com. However, I was never able to access it during the free trial period. When I attempt to log in, I still get the following error: "Your account has not been verified. Ask your Google Workspace administrator to verify the domain associated with your account."

And during the trial, when I looked at the G Suite status on my Weebly dashboard, I saw an update about how it was still being configured during the entire trial. After researching the issue, I saw that because the URL originated with Network Solutions, I needed to add MX records. I did this weeks ago, and still nothing.

Please advise what else I can do to make this work. I am a longtime, loyal customer with many Weebly products. Thank you! -Mike Ward

Hi @milepost0. You'll need to go to the G Suite page of your account, click on Enable Email, then pay for a year of service. Once you've done that you'll be able to log into the Admin Console to find steps to verify the domain. I've made the user you created an admin so you don't get a message about not having permission.

Thanks, Adam.

I made the purchase as instructed, signed into Gmail, clicked the agreement, and then got this message:

"We are sorry, but you do not have access to Gmail. Please contact your Organization Administrator for access."

Any advice? Thanks again. -Mike

Hi Mike. You need to first log into admin.google.com which is different than the Gmail login page. Once you log into the super admin page you will be able to verify the domain and complete the setup process.

No problem, @tinipixi. I've made your user an admin so you can continue the setup.

I have a similar issue but not getting very far. I paid for the Google Workspace with weebly so it was linked to my domain etc. After the trial of Google Workspace, is hasn't converted the account to paid. Weebly engineers are meant to have fixed it this week but nothing has happened. My email address is still inactive (yet being paid for) & other than a Facebook messenger response, I can't access an actual person to help fix the glitch (which is stopping me from operating my new business).

kjcounselling.com.au

I have followed every process & have been told it's a glitch in the transfer, so if there's any advice, I would love to hear how it can be sorted. Thanks!

I'm really sorry you are having this issue, @Katej. Our engineers are still trying to work on a fix, and will hopefully have an update soon.

In the meantime, you can reach out to our support team here to see if a rep is able to move the billing directly to Google instead.

Hi @healingself It looks like you still need to agree to the ToS in the Google Admin account. https://admin.google.com/

Once you log in you should see the ToS prompt at the top of the screen. Did you log into admin to verify your domain name or did it verify on its own?

I am having the same issue with two of my accounts. For months, it has read without change: This G Suite account is currently being configured. My accounts are www.tutoraround.com and www.allbrightinspired.com.

Hi @Allbright Has the email been working properly? I checked with advanced support and they said the error you see is a false positive. Can you please confirm if you can send/receive email from both accounts?

Hello @Bernadette, yes, I am able to send and recieve mail. But I am not able to set up emails with for my employess, I can only create alalysis in my own account, which my employes will not have access too. Do I need to upgrade my G Suit account to business, and if so, can I do that through Weebly? I don't see that I can and I have spent a lot of time looking.

Thank you,

Anne

Click the link on the Professional Email / G Suite page of your account to add another user, @Allbright. Google charges per-user, so you'll have to pay to add more people, though these will be full email accounts and not aliases.
