Those warnings or errors are basically saying, "you're using the older style of this code". All modern browsers support the code and will continue to do so for the forseeable future, although there's always the chance that a browser made 5 years from not might for some reason. We're always working on updating code, though, so by the time something like that would be an issue we'll have already change these.
