Custom Google Search Not Functioning

I added a custom google search bar to my website (type1foodie.blog) because I don't have an upgraded plan.  I used custom code to do this.  However, when I use the feature, no results are found for the words I search for.  Words that I know are in titles, in text, etc (like chocolate!!).  Could someone advise me?  Is it because my website is new (just bought the domain on Sunday), because I don't have an upgraded plan, or some other reason?  Thank you!

Hi @elkeppel I'm not familiar with the Google search tool, nor am I able to assist with custom code. Is the search tool supposed to search within your site? It looks like it is pulling results from a standard Google page instead. Have you tried reaching out to the Google community?
