I keep receiveing Spam emails through my contact form submissions
I keep receiveing Spam emails through my contact forms. I'm noticing that I tend to get them after I updating my websites. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, is there a solution?
Thank you!!!
Andrea

Make sure to enable Google Captcha, @drekrawlings. That will help minimize the spam you receive. Open the editor and click on your contact form, then click "form options" and toggle on the captcha. Make sure to save and publish.

All the time. I turned on the captcha because it got to be so much I couldn't stand it anymore. My contact page is my most visited page (bots, I'm assuming).

@Joannes0, after turning on Google Captcha, did you test it to make sure that it works as expected?
It’s tricky trying to test the Google Captcha feature as the challenge question is only displayed AFTER you click on the the “submit” button. Also, you will need to clear your cookie or use an incognito window in order for the Captcha feature to kick in. There will be no “I’m not a robot” checkbox at all! For step-by-step instructions on how to test Google Captcha on Weebly, please follow this link.
To prevent spam messages submitted by humans, you can try using this free service (which utlizes Artificial Intelligence to fight spam): https://blog.ivertech.com/blog/how-to-install-ivertech-spam-free-contact-code-on-weebly/

If we Weebly users can install the Ivertech spam solution, why can't Weebly do something like this itself? I'm wary of this solution.
