NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) approved?

Just in case you were asked to see if G-Suite is NIST approved for government/non-profit, etc. use.  This is what I finally found out.

Hey @cnerd thanks for sharing this, could you provide a brief contextual backstory on primary use cases or industries where this would be valuable/pertinent please?

How does this differ from oversight bodies such as IETF and ISO (I'm unfamiliar with NIST) please?

Awesome!

Is there a specific use-case you're developing that required this knowledge, and which you could share some more details about that might help other's in your similar situation in the future?
