Shipping/Freight for Large Items

Hi All - looking for advice on shipping large items like furniture. Has anyone figured our a way to integrate any real-time shipping rates for this through U-Ship or something similar?

My business doesn't currently ship large items, but my hunch would be to look into DHL. They have both retail and freight shipping plans for businesses, and I know you can integrate an account with them with your Square account.

Sorry I couldn't be more help but hope that get's ya started at least!

I have a friend that wrote a "how to" ebook years ago about how she started shipping furniture. It might be helpful. You can find it at www.rootsandwingsfurniture.com

the u-ship customer service team is fantastic.  if you haven't reached out to the small biz team def do, and their software guy will work with you in whatever capacity - not sure if they have square integration but they are great to work with.

Our product has to be shipped "freight" due to its size. My advice is to set up an account with a 3rd party freight broker. We use WorldWide Freight.  Easy to set up shipments and check rates with all carriers. Hope this helps.

They might help you with the square integration, I use it on one of my shopify stores and have tried many and love freight club for ease of use.
