I need to change a service from being in the "item" library to the "service" library.

What's the most best way to do this?

I believe the only way to do it is to just go to Items>Service Library and add the new service, and then delete it from the "item" library afterwards.

What if you need the service fee to be applied to the online orders to cover the fee we get charged for processing cards? can't seem to get it to appear for online orders even though I set it up for all locations.

Have you added that service charge from your Dashboard >Accounts &Settings > Business > Service Charge?

Go to the square home page 

Scroll down the menu on the left and click "Items"

Once you click "Items" you'll then click on "Service Library"

Click on the service 

Once you click the service, you'll look at the bar at the top and click on Locations

The location where you want those services listed, make sure they are all checked off.

For example, select the location where you want your customers to see those options offered. If it a physical location all items that you have physically need to be checked so that they are displayed as an option to your customers.
