@bethscardsbotiq Sorry to hear that. I looked up Square’s hardware return policy. The answer to your question depends on how long you’ve had the hardware. thank you, I have had t more then a year. There's nothing wrong with it, I just don't need it anymore. I'm not sure if I get charged just to have it in my possesion. I'll need to do some research. Maybe I can sell or gift it?

You should have purchased it outright, so it it yours to sell or give away. As long as you aren’t using any Square Add-on services (like marketing, or Teams Plus, etc) that have a monthly charge you shouldn’t get charged anything. You can go here to see if you have any month subscriptions services that you pay for — https://squareup.com/dashboard/account/pricing. If you do, just cancel them.
And, of course, if you aren’t sure, just call Square Support at (855) 700-6000
