cash transaction on report
I'd like to pull a transaction report that also lists which transactions are cash and which are credit. Is this possible to pull an item sales report with this info? Thanks!

From your PC's Dashboard, click on Transactions and set the selecter to the date range you need. Then click on Export in the upper right-hand corner, then click on Transactions CSV. Square will export a file with all the information you need, and you can open the file in a spreadsheet program and sort the data the way you need to. You'll get a lot of information you probably don't need too, but I can't find another way to get the cash/credit notes that you want.

Thank you. This is how I have been pulling the data but it does not list cash or credit for each transaction.

Are you using the Transactions CSV choice on the Export menu? Because neither of the other two will give you the cash/credit figures, but the transactions CSV will. At least that’s how it works on my system.

From your PC's Dashboard, click on Transactions
Then set the date range (upper left-hand corner)to what you need it to be. Then click on Export in the upper right hand corner, and click on Transactions CSV:
You'll be asked to choose the location to which the file should be saved. Once it's been downloaded, open it with Excel and you'll see way more information than you need.
Good luck.
